Client Stories
Asset managers rely on EAMaaS for a reliable and secure asset information ecosystem
Our clients work around the world building roads, supplying water, delivering goods and creating great places for Australians to live, work and play. They share a common goal to effectively maintain their facilities and physical assets, such as vehicles, plant and heavy equipment to improve asset performance and reliability.
Here are some of their stories.
Improved maintenance and schedule predictions for logistics organisation
LOGISTICS / TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY
Since 2017, a leading diversified logistics infrastructure and solutions provider in Australia and New Zealand have trusted COSOL to deliver Asset Management Information Systems (AMIS) solutions and continual improvements to its asset management processes and systems.
This included the transition of the clients on-premises EAM platform to IBM Maximo Application Suite on an EAMaaS subscription, and identified asset management remediation and improvement opportunities by delivering an Optimisation Roadmap.
In addition, the inclusion of 24/7/365 Application Managed Support helps ensure that the critical systems as part of the asset information ecosystem are continuously available and always up-to-date.
For the client, this complete managed EAM solution has helped improve maintenance and schedule predictions, and establish faster, more efficient asset management processes based on comprehensive asset data.
Reducing risks and expanding EAM capabilities for major road network
CIVIL INFRASTRUCTURE
Working with a leading infrastructure JV in Australia, COSOL deployed IBM Maximo Application Suite as part of an EAMaaS solution to enable operation and maintenance services for the tunnels and motorways that make up the vast and complex network of this major infrastructure project in Sydney, Australia.
The client’s choice to use COSOL’s enterprise-grade EAMaaS solution was to reduce risks associated with security, disaster recovery, and platform availability.
As well as transitioning data on locations, assets, meters, job plans, and planned maintenance schedules, the solution allowed the client to automate asset performance reporting, implement mobile (paperless) inspections, while being fully supported with a customised Application Managed Support program.
The integrated asset information ecosystem developed under the EAMaaS subscription meant the client could scale as the project moved into ‘Operate’ and ‘Maintain’ phases and allowed them to extend their EAM operations to support emerging capabilities.
Highly recommended service offering by an equally dedicated team!!
FHEOM have been working with COSOL for about 4 years on the Westconnex project in Sydney.
Prior to commencing on the EAMaaS service, FHEOM by self-admission was in a bit of a hosting/support mess. COSOL and the EAMaaS service was able to consolidate the mess and enable FHEOM to holistically address hand back requirements at end of contact with absolute certainty. A highly recommended service offering that has been supported by an equally dedicated team.

Increasing investments in cloud EAM software!
Digitally fit organisations are increasing their investments in cloud EAM software for ease of deployment, configurability, and scalability. When the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted businesses, organisations already deploying cloud applications found they could quickly adapt to new conditions, access critical business information, and immediately leverage new tools and apps released by technology vendors.
